Service Agreement
Invoices and Payments
The Business will invoice the Customer before and after completion unless otherwise noted in the Payment schedule. The Customer agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in termination of contract.
Payment Methods
Payment will be made to the Business via cash, check, an approved payment card, or Afterpay. All checks are to be made payable to Legendary Movers.
Reporting Damages / Deposit
Reporting Damages
We will not accept any claims made after 24 hours of completion of service. All claims must be entered within 24 hours from the completion of service. When reporting damage, please include a clear photo.
Deposit
DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE
Licensing
The Business promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
Authority to Sign
Each party has the authority to enter into this Contract and to perform all of its obligations under this Contract.
Termination of Contract
The agreement ends on [] unless the customer decides to cancel the agreement prior to project completion. If the customer chooses to end the agreement prior to project completion, the customer is responsible for giving the company 48 hours' notice or agrees to pay a $200 cancellation fee. Unpaid invoices may terminate this contract, and the client will be responsible for paying the early cancellation fee.
Modifications / Adjustments
The Client and the Business must agree to any changes to this contract verbally. The client was given a flat rate and shall not change unless in a situation where a second trip is necessary because all items do not fit in a single trip, or if the client needs to add additional items at that time. The rate will be adjusted accordingly.
Another reason for a rate adjustment will be if the client needs to reschedule. If the client needs to reschedule, they agree to a $55 rescheduling fee, which should be made within a 48-hour time frame. Failing to reschedule within that time frame will be considered a cancellation, and the client agrees to pay a $200 cancellation fee. The deposit is non-refundable.
Weather Conditions (Snow / Rain) and Safety
We require all move locations to be safe and free of any debris, snow, or ice to ensure the safety of movers. If the location is unsafe, movers may lay down salt to ensure their safety, and the customer will be billed for the labor. If the weather is severe, someone will contact you the night before with a plan for rescheduling.
